Changes to ANZAC Day restrictions 2025
ANZAC Day is a national day of remembrance. No matter how you choose to commemorate this day, today, we honour and pay tribute to our brave veterans and service members who have selflessly served our country.
The below retailers will be open for trade.

Trading hours on this day are a guide only. Retailers are welcome to trade hours suitable to their store as per NSW Trading Act 2008. It is not compulsory for them to open on this date. Please check directly with the stores their opening hours.
Please note, the Supermarkets will not be open this Anzac Day as, there has been a significant update to the operating restrictions for certain businesses on ANZAC Day, this year. Under the Retail Trading Amendment (ANZAC Day Trading Hours) Act 2024, ‘non-exempt’ retail shops are no longer allowed to open after 1pm on ANZAC Day. For more information click here.
